10th August – Madeley (Staffordshire/Cheshire border)

15th August – Halmerend (Staffordshire)

24th August – Keele (Staffordshire)

Survival September – outdoor bushcraft skills classes and indoor food preservation workshops

September is the month we traditionally celebrate the harvest. So we’ll take a look at food preservation techniques, as well as running outdoor sessions on survival skills and bushcraft.

Whether you’re interested in how to reduce food waste or make food go further, wish to learn some new recipes, or fancy learning how to survive and thrive in the great outdoors, our September sessions will have something for you to enjoy!

These sessions are a great way to enhance your foraging skillset by learning how to process and preserve your harvests. For budding bushcrafters, we’ll head out to the woods and learn all about how to not just survive but thrive outdoors.

October – season of the witch – online & in person educational talks

What really is a ‘witch’? Did they exist in history or are they a modern creation? Who really lost their lives during the witch hunts, and have the hunts really ended?

In defense of witches takes a walk through history to learn more about the dark times of the witch trials, then step forward in time to discover how this period in history still manifests itself in modern culture.

We’ll look at the folklore, traditions, and old medicines of the past, before journeying into the present day to look at modern witchcraft and witch hunts, and ask ourselves how things have changed when it comes to the role of women in society. The answer may surprise you! As may how many of the old ways have endured into our modern culture – some harmless and some harmful.

Rejuvenate January – mid-winter wellness – start the year as you mean to go on!
