Regular & Pre-Organised Events
“Sometimes the wild calls us together, and when it does, something beautiful unfolds in the sharing.”
Whilst my primary work focuses on bespoke, private experiences crafted around individual needs, I very occasionally offer pre-organised events when the season, the skill, or the moment feels ready to be shared in community. These gatherings happen organically throughout the year – announced through email updates to subscribers, social media, and website notifications as they emerge.
Pre-Organised Workshops
These seasonal offerings might include herbalism and natural remedy-making sessions where we craft tinctures and preparations together, soap-making workshops that transform simple ingredients into nurturing everyday essentials, or foraging expeditions that teach plant identification whilst gathering ingredients for shared meals.
Food preservation workshops explore traditional techniques, connecting us to ancestral wisdom whilst building practical skills for modern kitchens. Shinrin Yoku (woodland bathing) sessions invite deep connection with forest environments, whilst bushcraft and nature skills workshops cover essential outdoor capabilities like fire-making, shelter construction, and weather reading.
Learning the landscape sessions combine navigation skills with ecological awareness, helping participants develop the kind of intimate knowledge of place that transforms strangers into inhabitants. Each workshop maintains the same inclusive, accessible approach as my private work, welcoming all abilities and experience levels.
Blakenhall Yoga Sessions
Though I no longer run regular classes in most locations, I’ve maintained my sessions at Blakenhall & District Village Hall – it’s such a wonderful, welcoming, peaceful, friendly place, and the hall is beautiful. Why not join us for a session in the half light under aurora projections?
Bodhivolve Yoga offers a different kind of yoga experience, one that adapts to your body, your goals, and your energy on any given day. Each week, you choose how to follow the class flow: traditional yoga to connect breath and movement, isometrics to build deep focused strength or support injury rehabilitation, or weighted movement to challenge the body and build resilience.
The goal isn’t perfection – it’s presence. We move with awareness, tuning into body and mind in real time, discovering greater control, less tension, and a sense of grounded vitality you carry into the rest of your life. The atmosphere remains relaxed, supportive, and friendly. No mirrors, no competition, just focused movement and authentic progress.
MindSpa – The Art of Deep Rest
Every fourth week, we transform completely. The lights go low, the pace softens, and MindSpa begins – a deeply relaxing evening that blends Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Qigong, breathwork, and other slow, nervous system-resetting practices.
Sometimes the most radical thing you can do is simply stop. In a world that profits from our perpetual motion, choosing to pause becomes an act of quiet rebellion. These sessions offer breathwork that reminds your nervous system it’s safe to let go, guided visualisation that carries you somewhere peaceful, and that beautiful “yogic sleep” where healing happens without effort.
Everything can be followed from a mat or a chair – your choice, your comfort, your needs. No experience required, no ability assumed, no mobility expected. Just you, exactly as you are, exactly as you need to be. Because rest isn’t earned through productivity; it’s a birthright we’ve forgotten how to claim.

How Monthly Cycles Work
Each month at Blakenhall follows a rhythm: three weeks of Bodhivolve exploring themes or movement focuses that build strength, mobility, and awareness through dynamic, functional yoga. Then, in week four, we shift tone completely into MindSpa’s deeply restorative practices.
This cyclical approach mirrors natural rhythms – periods of growth and activity balanced with rest and integration. Whether you join for the full monthly journey or drop in for specific sessions that call to you, you’re welcomed into a community that understands movement as medicine and rest as rebellion.
Finding the Gatherings
Pre-organised workshops and seasonal events are announced as they develop through email updates to newsletter subscribers, social media posts, and website listings. These gatherings often fill quickly due to limited spaces, so joining the mailing list ensures you receive first notification when these special sessions become available.
Each event maintains the same values as my private work: inclusive accessibility, authentic connection with natural wisdom, and the understanding that everyone brings something valuable to the shared experience. Whether you’re drawn to practical skills, seeking community around nature connection, or simply curious about what might unfold when like-minded people gather with intention, these events offer glimpses into the power of learning together.
In a world that teaches separation, choosing to learn together becomes its own form of medicine. When the wild calls us to gather, something beautiful always emerges from the sharing.
