About Feral Therapy
“There’s something beautiful about bodies that refuse to quit, and souls that remember what they came here to do.”
We live in a world where movement has become optional, nature feels like a luxury, and stress masquerades as normal. We exist in a time when Nature-Deficit Disorder is recognised as real – we’ve drifted so far from the natural world that we’ve lost touch with our own intrinsic nature. Our modern lives have gently but persistently disconnected us from what we truly need to thrive: meaningful movement, seasonal rhythms, the quiet wisdom of our own instincts.
This separation costs us more than we realise. Our mental and physical health suffers. Stress-related illnesses burden our healthcare system whilst we find ourselves reaching for medicine cabinets to mask symptoms that whisper of deeper needs unmet. Yet research confirms what many of us feel instinctively – that spending time in nature offers profound benefits for both body and mind, something so vital yet often overlooked.
True wellbeing isn’t hiding in quick fixes or temporary solutions. It lives in the rhythms and practices that have sustained human flourishing for millennia. Rewilding isn’t about abandoning modern life – it’s about reclaiming the parts
The Journey Home
Feral Therapy exists to guide you back to what you’ve always known but perhaps forgotten – whether that journey unfolds through days immersed in Scottish Highland wilderness, discovering the peace of digital detox camps, accompanying me for an accessible mind-body wellness class, learning the power of breathwork or bushcraft, or an afternoon discovering the medicine growing right outside your door. The goal is beautifully simple: to help you remember your own nature. Often, this means gently unlearning the high-stress patterns we’ve accepted as normal, rather than piling on new techniques or strategies.
This work was born from my own journey back to wellness. After surviving serious illness and trauma, I spent a year living wild, discovering what my body and spirit remembered when I stopped fighting natural rhythms and started listening to their ancient wisdom. The artificial urgency that had driven me for so long simply fell away. Time moved differently. Sleep came deeper. Stress that had felt permanent began to dissolve like morning mist.
What I learned through lived experience was the life-changing power of remembering – not just surviving in nature, but thriving by reconnecting with the wisdom we all carry but have forgotten how to access.

Your Invitation
Now I share what the wild taught me with others who feel that same gentle tug toward something missing, that quiet sense that life could feel more alive. Every experience is crafted around what calls to you, what feels possible for your circumstances, and what your spirit needs to remember its own strength.
Whether you’re drawn to wilderness adventures, curious about bringing natural practices into your daily rhythm, or simply wondering what might shift when you step away from digital noise for a while – there’s space here for what you need.
Feral Therapy is Disability Confident registered and committed to creating inclusive, accessible experiences for everyone. The healing power of nature doesn’t demand extreme fitness or outdoor expertise – it asks only that you show up as you are, ready to remember what becomes possible when you trust the process of your own becoming.
This isn’t about dramatic transformations or becoming someone entirely new. It’s about gently rediscovering who you’ve always been beneath the layers of modern overwhelm, about finding your way back to the rhythms that help you feel genuinely well rather than just temporarily distracted from the overwhelm and noise we have come accustomed to.
The wild self you’re seeking has been waiting patiently, like a dear friend who knows you’ll find your way home when you’re ready. This work simply creates the conditions for that remembering to occur, whatever form feels right for you.
“Some of us were never meant to fit into the boxes society provides. We were meant to remember what exists outside those boxes – the wild spaces, the quiet moments, the simple truths that get lost in the complexity we’ve created.”
