Book here to add a foraging session to the International Bivvy Day & Wild Swimming Event being held on 28th – 29th September at Checkley Hall.
On the morning of the 29th, you’ll be guided around the farm by a professional, qualified, and insured forager, bushcraft teacher, nature therapist, and herbalist.
We’ll look at :
- Edible and medicinal plants as well as those usedful for skincare, first aid, and bushcraft
- Talk about the law that surrounds foraging & land access
- Discuss safe & sustainable foraging
- Take a look at any non-native, invasive, or poisonous plants that we find
- Cover recipes & processing techniques
- You’ll also receive a PDF foraging guide after the event
