Workshop details
Learn how to harness the natural healing properties of herbs in our hands-on Herbal First Aid Workshop.
In this interactive session, you’ll discover how to treat common ailments—cuts, burns, stings, and more—using plants like calendula, lavender, and comfrey. Our expert herbalist will guide you through crafting your own salves, tinctures, and poultices, empowering you to care for yourself and your loved ones with simple, effective remedies from nature. Perfect for beginners and nature enthusiasts alike, this workshop will reconnect you with the ancient wisdom of plant-based healing.
We’ll delve into recipes and make a variety of preparations including balms & salves, oxymels, and tinctures that are useful for minor ailments and injuries.
Led by a qualified herbalist, we will learn how to make bumps and bruises salve, a soothing balm for insect bites and stings, a natural cuts and scrapes remedy, first aid for burns, as well as preparations to help with coughs, colds, stuffy noses, and sore throats. We’ll also look at remedies that may ease common skin complaints such as dry skin, dandruff, and eczema, and how to naturally enhance the vitality of our hair.
Herbs and plants are an amazing source of healing. Learn how commonly available species can help us to stay well over the winter months and beyond.
While this session is not intended to be a replacement for medical advice, it will teach you how to harness the power of nature to help with minor day-to-day niggles by learning to work with plants with confidence.
You’ll also receive a free PDF handbook that covers everything from the session and more.
